Starting work on DT4REGIONS project
Digitalization is making steady progress in Europe. The latest data show that EU member states score an impressive 85% in user centric digital government and 57% in adoption.
But behind these numbers lies a far more complex reality. There are extreme performance differences not only between member states, but within them. As the recent Covid-19 crisis has shown, there have been major differences in the performance of local and regional services.
This project project aims to raise awareness and knowledge about AI and big data applications for public services, stimulate peer to peer knowledge sharing among regions, serve as a hub of a wide variety of data-related topics, such as open data, smart cities, digital skills and foster innovation through practical exercises, such as hackathons.
