2016 Annual Meetings of « Francophonie Living Labs » in relation with the Entretiens Jacques Cartier, Lyon & St Etienne (21-23 November)
The annual meetings of « Francophonie Living Labs » were initiated in 2015 in the context of the France-Quebec cooperation project (2015-April 2017 CPCFQ 65th edition) related to the consolidation of the Francophone network of Living labs and in relation to the famous “Entretiens Jacques Cartier”.
Between 21-23 November, attendees from various francophone countries (France, Canada/Quebec, Swizerland, Belgium, Tunisia) came to France for the second annual meeting of “Francophonie Living Labs” which were co-organised locally by France/Francophonie Living Labs with the help of three local French living labs, who are ENoLL members (the LL Cité du design, the Hygée Lab, ERASME), the University of Lyon (“Fabrique de l’innovation”, “Sciences et Société”) and TUBA – Lyon and with the support of the « Consulat Général de France » at Québec, ENoLL and BEDA.
The 2016 meetings of « Francophone Living Labs » included :
a) two days where around 25 attendees of our francophone community of living labs participated at the open exchange, networking, local visits of Lyon on 21 November (the Urban lab of ERASME See (a) and Tuba). A workshop at the Hygée lab – St Etienne was held on 23 November see (b) and two meetings related to our roadmap until 2017.
b) and one day with a public symposium in the context of the “Entretiens Jacques Cartier” hosted by the City of design at St Etienne on 22 November 2016 and organised by Brigitte Trousse (University Côte d’Azur, Inria & France Living Labs & ENoLL council, Sophia Antipolis) & Isabelle Verilhac (Cité du design, St Etienne) with the support of a scientific committee with 8 francophone living labs (see the program) and researchers.
This year, presentations were made by two speakers- usually the living lab manager and one stakeholder (researcher, entrepreneur/professionnal ..) in order to get a better understanding of living labs as well at the “ecosystem” level (governance, people implication, PPPP, juridic entity, ethics, etc.). Presentations of the “living lab project” (methodology, iterative process, user involvment) followed and of the transformational effect produced by living labs operations on skateholders. Other interesting speeches were related to collaboratives experiences or tools (evaluation, collective decision).
This year a new and very interesting Poster session took place, dedicated to current francophon PhD students from various scientific disciplines, conducting researchers on living labs and new ENoLL labelled living labs as well as to living labs in prefiguration.
