The Chairman of the ENoLL Executive Board, Fernando Vilariño, has announced the appointment of Wim De Kinderen as Vice President. In his role De Kinderen will support activities of the Chairman particularly focusing on EU affairs. Vilariño has congratulated De Kinderen who is representing Effective Member Brainport Eindhoven in the network. Through the Brainport Eindhoven EU Office, the City of Eindhoven, Brainport Development and other economic stakeholders from the region are represented.

Prior to working for Brainport Eindhoven, De Kinderen was active in regional development issues in Belgium. First as the Province of Antwerp RDA’s European Social Fund expert for the Objective 2 region ‘Kempen’ and later as the director of the Regional Socio-Economic Committee for the same ‘Kempen’ region. In between he has been an advisor (‘chef de cabinet adjoint’) to the Belgian federal government on socio-economic and budget policy topics.

De Kinderen’s appointment reflects ENoLL’s continued efforts in reaching out to all layers of society.

In his new role the ENoLL Secretariat welcomed De Kinderen in his new role and will support him in making his mission impactful and rewarding.
