ENoLL News
At the Smart City World Expo
We are getting ready for the biggest smart city event of the year – the Smart City World Expo in Barcelona, Spain held from 19-21 November 2019. The theme of this year’s edition is “Cities made of Dreams” and as the organisers explain, it means that “a city is not gauged by its infrastructures, its skin, its digital aesthetics, but by the height of its vision to respond to the needs of all citizens, without leaving anybody behind”.
The message closely resonates with us, since Living Labs place citizens in the centre of innovation and help create truly inclusive environments.
You can find the booth at which ENoLL will be present at Gran Via venue Hall no. P2 , Level 0 , Street B , Stand 294. This year, we have joined forces with NewHoRRIzon Project. Next to that, we will showcase activities from iSCAPE and UNaLab projects as well as various Living Labs.

SISCODE – SISCODE is an EU funded project aimed at stimulating the use of co-creation methodologies in policy design, using bottom-design-driven methodologies to pollinate Responsible Research and Innovation, and Science Technology and Innovation Policies.
Living Labs! Various Living Labs, such as Basaksehir Living Lab from Turkey, KWMC from the United Kingdom, Laurea from Finland and many more will talk about their experience and how they are running successful Living Labs. Stop by to talk to their representatives.
INTERACTIVE SESSIONS
To familiarize yourself with some methods that Living Labs use (or with the concept itself), we invite you to join interactive sessions. For beginners, who are not familiar with Living Labs we will walk you through the concept with the help of the Urban Living Lab Playground Game. You can experiment with the Smart Citizen Kits – developed within iSCAPE project. With these kits, citizens can measure air pollution in their neighbourhood.
