EMIC (Evaluation Model for Innovation Center) Workshop - FCAJ and ENoLL - 26th January 2023
On the 26th the EMIC (Evaluation Model for Innovation Centres) workshop organised by Future Centre Alliance Japan (FCAJ) in collaboration with ENoLL took place. This initiative is the result of a five-year partnership agreement with Future Centre Alliance Japan. Today, Mr. Hironobu Murata from FCAJ presented the work carried out by the organisation over the past years through the development of the EMIC survey to identify two key directions for innovation hubs: (1) the development of places in a way that is open to society, and (2) the creation of a city-based knowledge economy ecosystem to interact with customers and society.
During our inspiring session, Living Labs from the ENoLL members had the opportunity to exchange with FCAJ about their initiatives, experiences and results from different geographical and fields perspectives, yet so close in intents, on the innovation ecosystems where the quadruple helix co-creation approach facilitates and orchestrates the resolution of complex social challenges.
Our Head of Capacity Building and Research, Dr Francesca Spagnoli illustrated the work we are doing at ENoLL to boost and strengthen the enlargement and promotion of the Living Lab community all over the world with a series of challenging initiatives planned for 2023.
Special thanks to all the ENoLL members who participated and shared their experiences and knowledge with FCAJ: Josep Maria Salanova Grau, Bror Salmelin, Omer Onur, Paata J. Kervalishvili, Fiona Zimmermann, Despoina Petsani, Rosa Almeida, Teemu Santonen, Stefan Laxness, Konstantinidou Maria.
With great pleasure, we are delighted to announce that the workshop also gave us the opportunity to renew the MoU with FCAJ and we very much look forward to meeting you all again in 2023 for exciting exchanges on the Living Lab methodology and experiences.
