Call for trainers, panelists and moderator of Learning Lab Day 0
The call for trainers and panelists for Day 0 (Learning Lab Day) at the OLLD22 conference is now open!
This opportunity is directed to ENoLL Effective members. Adherent members may also apply based on availability.
There are several opportunities to contribute to the agenda again this year: first, take a look at the Day0 page & agenda on the OLLD website.
For the newcomer’s track we are looking for 2 trainers:
- Session 2: Governance models of Living Labs
A 30 minutes presentation + 15 minutes of Q&A to guide the attendees on how to coherently build a governance model for a Living Lab that incorporates all quadruple helix actors in the long term. This presentation takes place after the general introduction (basic elements of Living Labs and stakeholder engagement) presentation and the main aim is to support new, up & coming Living Labs on where to begin in their journey of creating the structure of their governance model.
- Session 3: Business modelling in Living Labs
Applying for this slot you will be asked to produce a 30-minutes + 15 minutes of Q&A presentation to explore the different funding models build a sustainable Living Lab, able to attract funds and dedicate the right resources over time.
3 panelists: one from each helix (industry, government & academia) for the panel discussion
The panel discussion will run after the first 3 sessions in the morning. During this panel discussion, the 3 experienced Living Lab panelists are invited to discuss how to make experimentation successful by enacting a long-term stakeholder engagement by bringing their experience. The panel discussion supports a lively debate among the panelists and the audience. As a panelist, we will request you to explore what is your experience, based on the presentations just heard, presented in a real-life case ‘storytelling’ manner through a casual panel discussion.

The selected trainers are each compensated a standard fee of 300 EUR / person.
The panelists are compensated a standard fee of 100 EUR / person.

For the intermediate track we are looking for either 1 trainer to take care of the 3 lessons:
- Session 1: Panel management
A practical presentation to provide the audience with a clear identification of the figure of the panel manager, including role, activities developed, and responsibilities. The presentation should focus on specific use cases and examples showing how the panel management work has been exploited by other Living Labs to be successfully implemented by the audience.
- Session 2: Pilot Management
A practical presentation to provide the audience with a clear identification of the figure of the pilot manager, including role, activities developed, and responsibilities. The presentation should focus on specific use cases and example showing how the piloting work has been exploited by other Living Labs to be successfully implemented by the audience.
- Session 3: Experimentation in real life setting: co-creation methods & tools
Methods & tools to co-create with Living Labs’ users and stakeholders in a real-life environment, with the final aim to support the participants in experimenting with these tools and adapt the best co-creation methodologies to the specificity of their own Living Lab.
For all the first 2 sessions of the intermediate track (in the morning), the specific timeslot of 1h 15 min consists of a 30-minute presentation, 15 minutes Q&A and 30-minute hands on exercise. The hands-on exercise is structured as a mini-workshop or a template/canvas that allows the participants to take in what they have learnt through your presentation and apply these learnings already in their own Living Lab context.
For the last session of the intermediate track (Session 3 Experimentation in real life setting: co-creation methods & tools), the specific time slot of 2 h 15 min consists of 45 minutes presentation, 15 min Q&A and a 1 h 15 min hands on exercise.
