Re-election of the Leadership for the European Network of Living Labs
The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) elected its new leadership board at the annual General Assembly of the association held in Manchester (UK) on August 27th, 2013.
Mr. Jarmo Eskelinen was re-elected at his second term as President and Chair of the Council. Jarmo leads Forum Virium Helsinki as CEO, an innovation company building digital bridges between people and services, and representing in ENoLL the Helsinki Living Lab.

Prof. Dr. Pieter Ballon, Director of iMinds Living Labs, and Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel was re-elected as the International Secretary of the Association and Dr.Lauri Tuomias as Treasurer. Lauri is the Vice President (Research, Development & Innovation) at HAAGA–HELIA University of Applied Sciences and representing in ENoLL the Finnish Network Living Labs for Universities of Applied Sciences.
Three new council members are elected:
–Mr. Ger Baron, Program and Cluster manager IT at Amsterdam Economic Board. From this position Ger founded the Amsterdam Living Lab program and the Amsterdam Smart City program. Ger is the reference point for Amsterdam Living Lab in EnoLL;
–Mr. Marco Combetto, Innovation manager at Informatica Trentina spa since 2008. He has been involved in several projects on the eGovernment, ePartecipation and Social Network thematic areas. Marco is the reference point for the “Trentino as Lab” living lab;
–Mr. Adam Olszewski, Implementation manager at Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. Adam is also Community Manager at ZOO – Poznan Coworking Space, Co-founder & manager of Wielkopolska ICT Cluster and representing in ENoLL Poznan Living Lab.
BSc. Annika Sällström replaces Mikael Börjeson as council member. She is currently employed as a general business manager at Centre for Distance-Spanning Technology at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden and representing in ENoLL Botnia Living Lab.
The General Assembly held in conjunction with the 4th ENoLL Summer School, organized jointly with Manchester City Council, featuring a wide set of initiatives that support the development of smart cities in Europe, combining innovation, creativity of cloud computing with future internet technologies.
