Péter Kövesd

Owner, Managing Director

Owner and Managing Director of TREBAG Ltd, innovation consultant.

Since its foundation, I’m the managing director of TREBAG Ltd. and the majority owner from the mid 90’s. I have a mechanical engineer degree and I am a qualified patent attorney. During my carrier I have always been dealing with research and development + innovation. I have also been performing innovation manager tasks since the last century’s 80’s. (It’s quite strange to write down ‘last century’…). I consider my main success to be that the company is still on the market after more than 30 years now. Admittedly, we had to perform some changes in the company during these years, but we consider it natural, as the market (with its demands) is changing constantly.

We have taken part in European Union funded projects as early as the end of the 90’s (Phare, Innovation Relay Centre), but our participation in these projects became important only the beginning of the century. I was involved in the elaboration and implementation of several strategies made for the polity, but the workload of these tasks had also fluctuated, just as the R&D and innovation management consultancy for SMEs and large companies had.
