The Idea Living Lab tries to be a central point of the open health ecosystem dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly people. We work in real environments and in a non-disruptive way, trying to research, transfer knowledge, develop, test and launch to the market, innovative products and services that improve the quality of life of the elderly, always from co-creation, co-design and of course person-centered care. Our technical team is transdisciplinary, with a high gerontological vocation and broad background, and is composed of geriatricians, psychogerontologists, physiotherapists, economists, managers, occupational therapists, social workers, experts in marketing and business models, with the aim of being able to find solutions to all the real needs of the elderly in all contexts of life.
We work together with all stakeholders involved at local, regional, national and European level: universities, associations of the elderly, research centers, public administrations and private companies. We try to innovate services and products through gerontological empathy, for us the elderly by themselves have to determine based on their real needs, whether innovations are feasible or not.
