The PCNA LL epitomizes the definition of being a regional orchestrator of well coordinated open innovation processes for co-created innovations in real-world settings for climate neutral solutions in the agricultural sector. The PCNA LL’s members are the leading actors of the agricultural sector in Vojvodina region (within the Pannonian region). The UNSFAis the largest agricultural faculty in the Western Balkans, while AgroCampus is the largest demo farm in the country. Together with the other partners of the LL and the supporting actors, the PCNA LL represents a beacon of open innovation for the region. The multiple experimentation facilities allow companies and researchers to directly test innovations in a real-life environment. Likewise, a wide reach to civil society organizations and policy makers, enables the PCNA LL to include climate-neutral innovation in the political agenda of the region and the country, while maximizing the involvement of potential users and final customers to further comprehend the importance of such technologies and further shaping their uptake. Finally, PCNA LL partners have long-term references for academia-industry collaboration that have made possible for Vojvodina to be one of the most productive agricultural regions in Europe.
