The Living Lab of Universidad de la Sabana is a concept of collective intelligence materialized in scenarios that integrate the academic, research, and social projection ecosystem centered on the territory and the people that are part of the region, acting as an organic co-creation platform and strategically promoting applied knowledge through the generation of capacities in innovation and startups, positioning the Living Lab as a pioneer in the region and in Colombia in exploring new technologies to foster creation and creativity, seeking solutions to problems and challenges of the environment, industry, services, public entities, and citizens; promoting open innovation and developing prototypes to foster experiential learning.
The management model of the Living Lab of Universidad de la Sabana is responsible for co-creation, design, prototyping, evaluation, and gamification processes; promoting active participation in specialized practical learning for the development of new solutions, achieving a positive impact on the quadruple helix: change collectives, communities, companies, government entities, and academia; through new methodologies, tools, and technologies; contributing to the generation of new ecosystems of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship with sustainable environments, responsible and conscious solutions.
