Through the Nantes City Lab, Nantes Métropole provides a range of experimental sites, equipments, data and engineering services to test innovative solutions in situ, in vivo, at scale 1.

Nantes City Lab is a system dedicated to full scale experimentation of innovative solutions by start-ups, SMEs, large groups, researchers, universities and associations. It brings together concrete means to innovate in the Nantes metropolitan area including:

– An urban laboratory: places and equipments to test innovative solutions related to social, ecological and economical transitions.

– A service to facilitate innovation through experimentation: a single point of contact, labeling, research of places for experimenting, link with Nantes Metropole technical departmentss, search for partnerships, definition of citizen interactions adapted to the projects, monitoring of experimentation, evaluation and promotion.
