Empowering Communities Through Innovation
Urban living labs (ULLs) have been recognized as a suitable approach for co-creating nature-based solutions (NBS) in urban settings. However, cities face several barriers when adopting ULLs for the co-creation and implementation of NBS. In this workshop, we want to explore and identify possible factors, methods and strategies, so called enablers, that help address those barriers and enable the successful adoption of ULLs for co-creating NBS.
Together with the workshop participants we will, through the use of interactive online tools, explore solutions and methods which can help cities to adopt ULLs. We will also to verify some pre-identified enablers, and discuss and assess the impact these can have in cities.
