Cancellation Policy for ENoLL events

1. Cancellation by Organizer:
In the event that the European Network of Living Labs ivzw (ENoLL) needs to cancel an event, registrants will be notified via email and provided with a full refund of any registration fees paid. ENoLL reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low registration numbers, venue availability issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

2. General Refund Policy:
Registrants who cancel their participation in the event must do so in writing. The following refund policy applies:

  • If a cancellation notice is received in writing no later than 14 days before the opening of the event, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If a cancellation notice is received in writing within less than 14 days and more than 7 days prior to the opening of the event, a cancellation fee of 70% of the agreed participation fee will be charged.
  • If a cancellation notice is received in writing within 7 days or less prior to the opening of the event, a cancellation fee of 90% of the agreed participation fee will be charged.
  • Cancellation on the day of the event or afterwards is excluded.
  • If the participant has already paid in advance, any overpaid amounts will be refunded.
  • There will be no refund for bank charges. 

3. OpenLivingLab Days (OLLD) Cancellation Policy: For OpenLivingLab Days specifically, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • If a cancellation notice is received in writing no later than 20/07/2024, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If a cancellation notice is received in writing no later than 20/08/2024, a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed participation fee will be charged.
  • If a cancellation notice is received later than 20/08/2024, no refund shall be due.
  • Cancellation on the day of the event or afterwards is excluded.
  • If the participant has already paid in advance, any overpaid amounts will be refunded.
  • There will be no refund for bank charges. 
  • All cancellations must be notified in writing by email to olld@downtowneurope.be.

4. Force Majeure:
ENoLL shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under this policy if such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, labor disputes, government regulations or restrictions, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ENoLL. In the event of force majeure, ENoLL reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the event without liability. Attendees may be entitled to a refund in cases of force majeure on their side, provided that documentation supporting the claim is provided to ENoLL.

5. Attendee Responsibilities:
Attendees are responsible for monitoring event communications and notifications from ENoLL regarding event updates, changes, or cancellations. Attendees should ensure that their contact information provided at the time of registration is accurate and up-to-date to receive important event-related communications.

This event cancellation policy is subject to change at the discretion of ENoLL without prior notice.
