Leeds City Council, in partnership with EUROCITIES, is organising an event as part of the wider Leeds Digital Festival, that will discuss how living labs can create opportunities for cities to become smart places.
The focus of the event will be on living labs and their role and importance in developing smart cities. This is a prominent and current topic in how towns and cities develop, and how public services are delivered in the future.
As well as looking at the situation in Leeds, the event will aim to share examples of best practice from other European cities, examining some of the challenges they have faced in creating and setting-up living labs, and the opportunities labs provide to support recovery and re-shape cities in a post-Covid world.
It’s also a great opportunity for organisations working in the digital and tech sector to find out how they could work in partnership with city living labs.
