The second Smart Cities in Smart Regions 2018 conference will take place in September 26 – 27, 2018. Lahti University of Applied Sciences organizes the second international Smart Cities in Smart Regions Conference in 26-27 September 2018. Esteemed keynote speakers will introduce their insight of the conference themes. The second keynote has been confirmed and he is Dr Stephan Pflugmacher Lima, Professor, University of Helsinki, joining Professor Rohinton Emmanuel from Glasgow Caledonian University.

The main themes of the conference are:

• Green Infrastructure and Well-being

• Design, Technology and Digitalisation

• Circular economy and Entrepreneurship

The call for proposals for oral presentations and posters in the mentioned topics is open until 29th of January 2018. Alongside academic papers, also best practices and case studies are welcomed and they will be accepted according to more practical criteria.
