Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Basaksehir Living Lab are jointly hosting a “Regional Living Labs Summit” in Istanbul during 25-26 October 2018. The aim of the event is to create a model to develop the innovation ecosystem in the region by making Istanbul Metropolital City the bridge between MENA (Middle East and Africa) and near Asia, including also the Balkan countries. The aim is to repeat the conference every year to ensure follow-up of actions and future roadmaps.

Innovative Development can be successful with the decision power, the policies and the commitment of mainly Municipalities and Governments supported by Public, Private or Academic Innovation Eco-systems. Istanbul City has an Eco-system of more than 60 various kinds of innovation hubs.

Chairman of ENoLL, Fernando Vilariño, and some distinguished members of the ENoLL community will be present as speakers and panelists during the summit.

ENoLL’s world of Living Labs have the knowledge and experience to support the development of this eco-system around the world. Therefore, Living Lab representative are invited to join the Summit and support the development of a Regional Living Lab Model.
