[KLID] Seminar on COVID-19 Responses and Post-CORONA World

Date:15.04.2021

Both Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute (KLID – ENoLL’s strategic partner) and Korea Social Security Information Service (SSIS), the co-hosts of this seminar, are public organizations responsible for information systems and digital services in Korea. KLID is in charge of operation and maintenance for diverse public information systems, whereas SSIS takes care of healthcare and medical information systems and services. The two institutions have helped the nation’s pandemic response through their public information systems such as KI-PASS (the electronic registering list via QR code), nation-wide distribution of emergency disaster subsidy. The practices brought by KLID and SSIS will offer several interesting points of pandemic countermeasure using IT systems in Korea.

The aim of the seminar is to learn diverse approaches and perspectives from foreign cases to better understand and deal with the pandemic more effectively. Vice versa, international communities will also learn from Korea’s cases, fully utilizing IT/digital methodologies to cope with various COVID-related issues.

When: Thursday, 15 April at 14:00 Korean time / 07:00 CEST (Brussels time)

The event will be live streamed at this link: https://youtu.be/_0pLzSiXirQ
