In collaboration with the City of Katowice and leading up to the 11th World Urban Forum, the UN-Habitat Innovation Unit is hosting the Katowice Energy Innovation Challenge.

This initiative encourages start-ups and innovators around the world to help the city of Katowice transition to clean and renewable energy systems. 

How? Through digital information management and communication solutions empowering the local government, residents, and businesses to embrace the transition.

Three winning innovators will be invited to participate in an acceleration program at Katowice’s municipal business incubator Rawa.Ink and present to an international audience during WUF between 26-30 June 2022.
