Date:20.04.2021

The Lithuanian National Digital Coalition and the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition are organising a Community-led Event focusing on actions to reduce the digital skills gap nationally as an engine to accelerate the post-pandemic recovery.

The event will complement existing European viewpoints with opinions from the ground from Coalition Members, Living Labs and start-ups from Lithuania. It will build on best practices learned from the COVID-19 crisis and before in each of the 4 areas of focus of the Coalition (education, labour force, ICT specialist skills and all citizens). Members will provide input on how they can support the strategic implementation and good execution of initiatives to improve digital skills which will support the transformation of the Lithuanian economy and society. Specifically, the event will address how public strategies can drive investment for the upskilling and reskilling of workers for the digital age, adoption of new technologies across sectors and developing innovative projects.
