On the 26th of August 2015, the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) announced the results of the 9th Wave and officially welcomes the new members in Istanbul, Turkey, during OpenLivingLab Days, the annual summit of the worldwide ENoLL and Living Lab community.

As a rather young and recent phenomenon, Living Labs create numerous challenges and issues to be tackled by both scholars and practitioners. It is necessary to add to both the theoretical and practical knowledge on Living Labs in order to advance the learning in this field.

The Lighting Living Lab was created one year ago and is developing a project that will permit the creation of the cadastre of street lighting in the municipality at the moment.
