Is your city or NGO facing social or urban challenges? Join our upcoming open call and let the CommuniCity Consortium assist you in addressing these pressing issues with innovative technologies. The third CommuniCity Open Call launches on September 10, 2024, seeking technology-driven solutions to bridge the digital divide and enhance the well-being of marginalized communities.

Expanding upon previous successes, this open call welcomes participants from cities and NGOs across Europe, aiming for a more inclusive initiative. We invite NGOs and new cities to present novel challenges and join as “challenge owners.”

The CommuniCity Open Call offers European cities a chance to tackle social and economic challenges while promoting digital inclusion. Through collaboration between city representatives, professionals, residents, and technology providers, innovative solutions tailored to each city’s needs are developed.

The CommuniCity Consortium warmly invites new cities to join the Open Call and collaborate on urban challenges. Participants gain expertise in co-creation methodologies and future technologies like Artificial Intelligence, supported by step-by-step guidance for agile piloting.

Throughout the process, dedicated digital tools and support activities ensure an efficient piloting process. Applications are open until October 31, 2024, with expert juries evaluating submissions. Winning teams receive a minimum €12,500 grant to support solution development and pilot implementation.
