Our team was at the EnergyVille in Genk, Belgium on 16 June where we co-created the governance model of the future Genk Living Lab using an interactive, workshop approach. This was accompanied by a co-creative game through which the Genk Living Lab gained further understanding on how to co-create their next sessions with the local stakeholders.
The workshop was held within the scope of the EU-funded project OpenLab. The project is leading the transition to Positive Energy Neighbourhoods (PENs) in Tartu (Estonia), Pamplona (Spain) and Genk (Belgium). Genk aims to transform 33 houses into energy-positive buildings by means of a collective renovation concept, applicable for both rental and private dwellings.
