About EUSIC

Launched in memory of social innovation pioneer Diogo Vasconcelos, the European Social Innovation Competition is a challenge prize run by the European Commission across all EU Member States and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries. Now in its 8th year, the Competition acts as a beacon for social innovators in Europe, employing a proven methodology for supporting early-stage ideas and facilitating a network of radical innovators shaping society for the better. Each year the Competition is based around a different issue facing Europe. This year, the focus is: Reimagine Fashion https://eusic.challenges.org/

 

Role Specification

EUSIC is looking the pool of experts from the first week of August and run it until August 20 to help semi-finalists to submit their Development Plans. The objective of this line of support is for semi-finalists of the Competition to receive targeted feedback on and help with any questions or challenges they encounter regarding a specific theme related to their project. The pool of experts will consist of a variety of experts in fields like social finance, communications & marketing, business modelling and impact strategy & measurement. The semi-finalists will have the opportunity to plan a 1 hour coaching session with an expert focusing on a specific question.

We want to hear from you if you are an expert in;

  • Business modelling
  • Impact strategy & measurement;
  • Scaling.

 

 

The practical requirements for experts are as follows:

  • Be available between August 4 – 20 to spend up to a maximum of 8 sessions (1 hour per session, 8 hours in total) spread out over this period of time with individual semi-finalists.
  • The sessions will take place online and simply be set up by the expert in connection with the semi-finalists.

Renumeration

The payment per session is €100,- incl. VAT. The project partner Kennisland can be invoiced directly after the exchange period has ended
