Tuija Hirvikoski, PhD, from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Open Science Policy Platform Member and European Network of Living Lab’s council member and its previous Chairman has been appointed to the ICF jury contributing to the selection of the Intelligent Community of the Year in 2019 and beyond.
For decades Laurea University’s purpose driven open science, open innovation and co-creation activities have supported various innovation ecosystem stakeholders at Helsinki-Uusimaa region. As a consequence of its innovation and business ecosystem’s fruitful collaboration, the City of Espoo was appointed the Most Intelligent Community in the World 2018 by ICF. Tuija’s candidacy was initiated by the City of Espoo, one of Laurea’s main owners.
