Between 17th-18th September, European research and innovation project – iSCAPE (Improving the Smart Control of Air Pollution in Europe) of which ENoLL is a partner, has organised a Summer School under the title Air Quality Sensing and Approaches for Mitigation using Smart Solutions and Citizen Engagement. Aim of the Summer School was to broaden awareness of air pollution and ways to control it. During the event, current and future air pollution mitigation activities were presented, providing an opportunity to participants to interact with the work of iScape.
By attending the Summer School, participants gained theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in relation to behavioral change initiatives and sensing technologies for air quality management and control. Through the co-creation workshops they learned about the living lab approach to solve various problems related to the environment.
As part of its involvement in an advisory-support role on the exploitation and dissemination of iScape activities in the context of Living Labs, the ENoLL Secretariat participated in an engaging two-day event organised. If you are interested to know more about the air pollution mitigation solutions and activities currently taking place as part of iScape, or how your Living Lab could benefit or collaborate, please contact us at [email protected]
