For the 10th time, the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) is calling for services, products, and business innovations that use satellite navigation in everyday life. Under the motto “Take the Next Step with Your Business Case”, individuals and teams of entrepreneurs from industry, research, and universities can benefit from cooperating with 25 partner regions worldwide and key stakeholders such as the European GNSS Agency (GSA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the European Patent Office (EPO). The ESNC supports innovators in realising their applications and business cases through the largest network in satellite navigation.
This year’s ESNC prize pool is worth around EUR 1 million. In total more than 30 prizes will be awarded – among them also the GNSS Living Lab Prize that calls for developers and users to submit proposals for GNSS-related products and services that are ready to be tested and ideally implemented in a suitable Living Lab. Up to three teams will have the chance to conduct a reality check trial that is worth EUR 40,000-80,000. Partners are ENoLL members Digital Spaces Living Lab in Bulgaria (focus: Media), New Tools for Health in Sweden (focus: Health) as well as the Integrative Usage Lab in France (focus: Media).
