Together with the project Europeana Creative and Barcelona Cultura we’re co-organising a workshop this Wednesday in Barcelona on using Europeana content and the Europeana API. We hope workshops like this will enable and promote greater re-use of cultural heritage resources by creative industries.

Europeana is a platform providing access to more than 30 million digitised cultural heritage objects from Europe’s libraries, museums, archives and audiovisual collections, This hands on workshop will demonstrate how to use the Europeana API and include it into web applications.

We realise it is late notice to join us in Barcelona but the workshop will also be web streamed meaning you can watch wherever you are in the world.
