Smart City is a Smart Connected Creative City

SPECIFI-project partners gathered for their kick-off meeting in January 28-29th, 2013 in Trento (Italy). 

SPECIFI will demonstrate that a ‘Smart City is a Smart Connected Creative City’ boosting the potential of European cities, regions, SMEs and creative individuals to overcome fragmentation and the lack of sustainable business models in an open and user-driven fashion. In SPECIFI the creative European cities will to connect and unlock their potential for creativity.

SPECIFI-project partners gathered for their kick-off meeting in January 28-29th, 2013 in Trento (Italy). 

SPECIFI will demonstrate that a ‘Smart City is a Smart Connected Creative City’ boosting the potential of European cities, regions, SMEs and creative individuals to overcome fragmentation and the lack of sustainable business models in an open and user-driven fashion. In SPECIFI the creative European cities will to connect and unlock their potential for creativity.

SPECIFI is led by iMinds, and includes ENoLL member i2CAT and Create-net, and will involve real-life users and producers. Alltogether five certified ENoLL Living Labs active in 3 smart cities and their surrounding regions (Trento, Kortrijk, Barcelona) and partners in creative industries, including the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL).
