Living Labs approach integrated into higher education institutions’ curricula accelerates employability

The purpose of Quicker Steps project is to disseminate knowledge and best practices of the diverse co-operation and partnership solutions between higher education institutions and working life in Finland, Luxembourg, Austria and the United Kingdom in order to develop students’ possibilities to quicker step into working life from higher education. The project promotes the Living Labs approach to be integrated into higher education institutions’ curricular activities as it has a capacity to accelerate graduate employability.

Quicker Steps project invites you to join the seminar in Coventry

“A paradigm shift in pedagogy for enhancing graduate employability”

Tuesday 9th October 2012, 9:00 – 17:00 at Coventry University’s Engineering and Computing Building in Gulston Road, Coventry, UK

The purpose of the seminar is to share good practices on innovative approaches on learning and teaching to improve student employability. In the seminar the focus is on different kinds of co-operation models between the education and the world of work, including Activity-Led Learning. These practices are explored from the perspective of the students, employers, professional bodies, and higher education institutions. A leading theme of the seminar is supporting the employability of students from diverse backgrounds. The seminar is organized by ENoLL effective members Laurea University of Applied Sciences and Coventry University.

Participation in the seminar is free of charge.
