Inaguration of Basaksehir Living-Lab took place on the 8th of May

Basaksehir Living-Lab which has been active since 2012 has moved into its new Living-Lab building in the begining of 2014.

Basaksehir Living-Lab which has been active since 2012 has moved into its new Living-Lab building in the begining of 2014. The new Living-Lab which is equiped with incubation areas, user experience environments, laboratories, design areas, 3D Printing facilities and workshop areas has been formerly been inaugurated with the attendance of European Union Minister of Turkey Mr Mevlut Cavusoglu, Chairman of Turkish Chamber of Export, Basaksehir Mayor Mt Mevlut Uysal, President of ENoLL Jarmo Eskelinen, Finland Ambassador to Turkey and others like Prof Joseph Pique, Bror Salmelin, Prof Artur Serra, Roberto Santoro and Arni Aromaa from Pentagon design.

With the new technological building and many innovative products and services put on display Turkish media coverage of the premises has been significant.

Basaksehir Living-Lab building is the first public building in Turkey to receive the Gold Leed Certificate.

 Examples to some of the innovative  products and services are:

• Smart Home’s,
• Smart Mirrors,
• App Store with many innovative applications such as Twitter with Voice, Real Estate tracking
• Robotics Table and Robots made from lego,
• Model Planes with remote control built for 300 USD  that can fly 4 km high with a range of 30 km and can take pictures and send to the ground station,
• Paper made from Stone,
• System that biologically cleans house seweage for using the water for watering parks and gardens
• Wallrite, an interactive and intelligent workshop wall.
• and others

 
The new facilities are able to accomodate upto 100 enterprenuers and has a showroom of 900 m2s.

Basaksehir Living-Lab is open to all kind of co-creations with users and collaborations with all ENoLL members.
