FIWARE at the IoT Solutions World Congress

FIWARE will be present at the IoT Solutions World Congress 2016 in Barcelona on the 25-27th October.

The second edition of this event will offer an international environment with more than 8,000 visitors and will focus on IoT solutions in six dedicated areas: Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Transportation & Logistics, Innovation and Technology.

Internet of Things, combined with information processing and Big Data services on the Cloud, is going to enable a new breed of innovative Smart Digital Services.

FIWARE stands out as the Open Source platform supporting the development of Smart Applications managing context information. 

Highlight regarding the event: 

booth in the Exhibition Area where FIWARE will show 4 different Demos from the FIWARE start-ups:

• Beeta by Tera, a solution for energy savings.
• Optimization of warehouse logistics with FIWARE-based robots by eProsima.
• Drone Delivery by Connect Robotics, which use Drones for deliveries and transportation.
• CardioWheel by CardioID Technologies, which uses the steering wheel to control the health of the driver.

You will have the opportunity to pass by the booth and test all and each one of the demos.

In the Area dedicated to Testbeds, which will show some special Demos: two of the FIWARE demos will be there:

•  Adevice, with a water quality control demonstration.
• ETConcept with Fi-Sonic, which processes and analyses the sound captured in a specific space.
