The European Commission therefore invited a broad range of participants from industry, the research community and NGOs, as well as representatives from Member State governments, and the other EU institutions to assess progress in meeting the targets of the Digital Agenda. This, first Digital Agenda Assembly took place in Brussels on 16th and 17th June 2011.
