What is preventing EU from becoming the first-in-class Innovation environment? What issues should policy makers be aware of? What are the necessary conditions for successful innovation?

FUTURIUM, an EC initiative launched back at the beginning of the month by Robert Madelin, senior innovation adviser in the EPSC, offers a great opportunity for you to share your issues, launch new discussions on the future of innovation & bring your ideas on how EU could become an innovation friendly environment! You can upload any documents & publications that you feel the Commission should be aware of and you can also consult submitted ones by other innovators and discuss. Anyone can sign up for a profile start a discussion or contribute their view or opinion.

By June 2016 a report will be compiled on “how best to position Europe as a global pro-innovation actor… how to bring European ideas to market, what regulatory and policy framework can best support this and how more effectively to create deep and agile finance for innovative growth”. We know Living Labs can offer a lot to this discussion so get involved & help shape innovation policy for the 21st Century, making sure your ideas do not escape the radar screen of a pro-innovation EU strategy!
