eBled 2012 is the 25th eBled conference and this is a reason to celebrate. What began as a Slovenian conference with topics around Electronic Data Interchange is for decades now an International forum for researchers, practitioners and policy makers and attracts participants from all over the world. Throughout the first 25 years, the Bled conference went along with the new Economy, the Digital Revolution, financial turmoils and the political and societal changes in Europe.

Throughout the first 25 years, the Bled conference went along with the new Economy, the Digital Revolution, financial turmoils and the political and societal changes in Europe. All aspects of electronic interaction – eEverything – is the theme of the Bled electronic commerce conference series. Society today depends on eIinfrastructures enabling eInteractions – on eEverything.
Do we master the craft, art and science of designing eEverything so that we can depend on? The conference theme eDependability serves as a forum to discuss design and creation of reliable and trustworthy eStructures, eProcesses, eOperations and eServices. Is the silver standard that we reached enough? What needs to be done for the gold standard? Researchers, practitioners and policy makers are invited to contribute to the eDependability theme.

All submissions to the Research Stream will be considered for The Bled Outstanding Paper Award by a panel of judges.

Beside the general research topics the 25th Bled conference offers special interest tracks on:
Beside sessions with papers, special interest tracks will comprise also more interactive sessions like panels and workshops.
Research Papers should be original, unpublished elsewhere and no longer than 5,000 words.

All accepted papers will be published in the Bled eConference Proceedings on the web and on CDs (with ISBN and CIP number).
BUSINESS PANELS, WORKSHOPS AND MEETINGS
You are invited to submit a business, government, or academic panel, workshop or meeting proposals related to ‘e’ research, practices etc. The proposal (1 page) should indicate the title, the chair and the panelists (name, position, affiliation, country, e-mail), the topic and issues to be discussed. Template and electronic submission information will be available at the Conference web-site.
Panels are expected to explore innovative ways of exploiting the latest eTechnologies and development approaches and to suggest new research agendas.
Workshops are expected to demonstrate successful use (via prototypes, Living Labs, etc.) of the latest eTechnologies and to lay out the directions for further research.
