About

Before holding the current position in early 2006, Dr. Belinda Chen worked as a research scientist at National Health Research Institute, Technology Ministry of Health and Welfare, and biotech companies focused on genetic testing products. She is the leader of the information technology group in Taiwan Biobank Project, and has more than 20 years of research experience of ICT applications in public health promotion and preventive medicine, living lab research, and smart cities planning.

Dr. Chen currently serves as project leaders situated in the domains of smart city/intelligent park planning, and smart gym/fitness equipment development. She is also serving as a council member of Eueopean Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), an international association in promoting open innovation.
