Ms. Hanna-Greta Puurtinen works at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), Finland since 2006. She received her Master of Science and Licentiate of Technology degrees (Biomedical Engineering) from Tampere University of Technology in 2000 and 2002, respectively. In addition, she has graduated as Master of Arts (majoring in German Philology, International Relations and French language) from University of Tampere in 1998.
Currently, she holds two positions at TAMK, namely Head of Research, Development and Innovation at the School of Built Environment and Bioeconomy and Senior Specialist at Project Management Office. She has a 25-year work experience consisting of various duties and assignments related to international scientific and applied research & innovation. She possesses extensive and sustainable networks and partnerships within education and R&I community both in Finland and internationally.
The focus of her work relates to expertise in EU policy frameworks as well as European and national project funding instruments such as Horizon Europe. She has experience in successfully applying managing and working as an expert in projects financed by funding schemes such as Interreg Europe, Central Baltic Programme, Erasmus+, Business Finland and Ministry of Education. She contributes to European projects, initiatives and conferences on a regular basis, with a specific mission to Living Labs as the representative of TAMK Living Lab in the Council of the ENoLL since 2019.
