ENoLL Webinar Series on COVID-19 Crisis

ENoLL Webinar Series on COVID-19 Crisis

ENoLL community is actively working on the challenges that the COVID-19 crisis has brought to us. Our aim now, as it is for many others, is to react in an agile way and prepare our cities and communities now for the new societal changes that will take place in Europe and the World. The Webinar Series on “COVID-19: Current actions preparing our digital societies for a post-COVID future” is gathering our Community of Living Labs and stakeholders around actual proposed solutions. We have scheduled the following list of webinars, aligned with the current ENoLL Action-oriented Task Forces:
  1. 21/4/20 13:00h CET  “Living Labs and the Maker community’s response to the COVID-19 crisis around Europe and the World”
  2. 05/5/20 13:00h CET  “Hackathons of technology for good: Co-creating and deploying during COVID-19 crisis”
  3. 19/5/20 13:00h CET  “Government and citizen engagement in COVID-19 confinement and beyond”
  4. 02/6/20 13:00h CET  “Communities innovating around the health systems: the reaction to the COVID-19 emergency and what will remain”
  5. 16/6/20 13:00h CET  “How the COVID-19 has changed our Universities for good”
30/6/20 13:00h CET  “Rural development, nature and tourism: impact of COVID-19 and new approaches”
  6. 14/7/20 13:00h CET  “SMEs in Europe and Open Innovation for the post COVID-19 digital society”.
The webinars will last 60 minutes and will consist of two parts:
  1.  During the first part we will present to the audience a set of real-life responses from our members, stakeholders and individuals to the health crisis.
  2. During the second part we will debate, with questions from the audience on “what’s next”. This will be done from the perspective of the construction of an actual digital society based on a multi-stakeholder and citizen-centric approach for Europe and the World, advancing in the democratisation of the access to innovation for all, not leaving anyone behind.
For our upcoming seminar: 21/4/20 13:00h CET  “Living Labs and the Maker community’s response to the COVID-19 crisis around Europe and the World”

We confirmed so far the presentations from the following contributions:

  • Wim de Kinderen: Engaging the 3D printing infrastructures and stakeholders in Eindhoven (Netherlands).
  • Juan Bertolín: Maker community and University’s Living Lab University engagement in Castelló (Spain).
  • Jordi Reynes: The infrastructure of citie’s maker spaces to the service of the maker community in Barcelona (Spain).

Online
This is a role-play where each participant will embody a key figure in society. Together, we will collaboratively craft strategies aimed at fostering a sustainable future by envisioning the world in 2050. The focus lies on various cities worldwide, each poised for a green transition. Through dialogue and negotiation, the aim is to forge agreements that pave the way for necessary actions and initiatives.
