The Open Call is devoted to the following goals:

  • Expand the FIWARE Lab federation with new nodes to increase the capacity of our current facilities and provide an improved service to the users from the Acceleration Programme and beyond
  • Reinforce the support team with additional support resources for first level helpdesk and also dedicated support teams for the new nodes
  • Foster the creation of production grade commercial FIWARE instances with credible business plans
  • Secure the sustainability of the FIWARE experimentation facilities
  • Foster the incorporation of FIWARE players that will remain active beyond the FI-Core life span

This FIWARE Lab Open Call addresses players who can demonstrate experience and credentials in the definition and implementation of similar plans. In particular, we target proposers who can prove their experience with OpenStack. The degree of involvement in developer and user communities will be a plus.

A maximum budget of 1.625.000 will be assigned to selected beneficiaries so this is an amazing opportunity to launch some new and exciting activites within your Living Lab.

  • Deadline: the call closes on the October 29, 2015 at 17h00 CET
