EBN Annual Reception and workshop in cooperation with ENoLL on Smart & Specialized Networks for Smart & Specialized Strategies!

In the framework of the EBN Annual Reception 2012 that will take place on the 5th of March in Brussels, EBN with ENoLL collaboration organised a specific workshop dedicated to mobile applications and services developed by smart entrepreneurs in Living Labs.

 

After a first presentation of the Living Labs concept by Mr Alvaro Oliveira, the Chairman of ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs), the attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the testimonial of Jacky Chef from Promotech Lab who “reinvented” the Promotech BIC with the Living Labs methodologies.

Moreover, ENoLL Effective member and a recently accredited EC-BIC, being a Living Labs pioneer itself (IBBT) will also explain why “BIC + Living Labs” could be a winning cocktail. This will be followed by the presentation of the MOBIP project.  Mr Reinhard Büscher, Head of Unit Support for Industrial Innovation at DG Enterprise & Industry (EC), will close the presentations session by explaining how to lead Europe’s potential for innovation in the market of mobile and mobility technologies.

 

The second part of the workshop will be organised as a round-table where specialists of Living Labs, networks and incubation, as well as users of this Living Labs concept will focus on the following topics :

 

  • How to enhance collaboration between the Living Labs & BICs communities?
  • How do specialized networks boost innovative SMEs in Europe?
  • Methods & tools from the collaboration between business incubators & Living Labs

 

 

Mr Per Axel Blixt, Head of Unit in charge of the Living Labs initiative at DG Information Society, has also confirmed his presence.

 

Mr John Latham, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Coventry University will give the conclusions and recommendations to enhance Living Labs and BICs collaboration.
