SmartSystems is primarily a creative economy’s ecosystem which consists of businesses of all sizes, industrials, technological and territorial partners from the world of research, but also artists, designers, architects, thinkers ….
Their common goal is to build the future, break down the walls between disciplines in favor of open innovation, cross-fertilization and work in cooperation. This ecosystem is not just another online social network, even if based on a collaborative platform developed [SMARTPEOPLE] SmartSytem is first of all a place to real exchanges, creation and production.
SmartSystem wants to make available for artists and creators the most advanced technological means available to achieve their creative ideas.
The multimodal platform [smartLAB] is unprecedented in France
It brings together on a vast plateau, designed in open innovation, technological tools, which until now had remained confined to the enclosed spaces of research laboratories or large industries: a virtual reality center equipped with the latest generation of immersive cube and Powerwall, a plateau of five Fab Labs dedicated to 3D image, smart objects, augmented reality, sensorial smell or sound, design and prototyping.
The project is completed one of the best European Living Lab (labeled ENoLL) to provide the opportunity to test and bring new uses and new consumer behaviors.
These technologies are open access to project leaders, artists, small businesses who will find there the means to realize their dreams.
SmartSystems is finally an operational structure projects support [SMARTGROUP], with its pole in the fields of legal, financial, technological, intellectual and industrial property protection, or communications and marketing.
SmartSystems is powered by a multidisciplinary team of thirty highly qualified professionals from across Europe to bring their know-how and expertise in this melting pot of creative innovation. A consortium of large companies accompanies the project to optimize the launch of innovative projects and opportunities in international markets.
SmartSystems is under technical construction and aggregation of competences. The launch will be made operational in late September 2010, simultaneously in Paris and Sophia Antipolis.
