ENoLL Partners with WeMind Cluster for the WeMind International Forum in Barcelona

The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is pleased to announce its “media partnership” with WeMind Cluster for the upcoming WeMind International Forum (WMIF), taking place on November 26th and 27th at the World Trade Center in Barcelona. The WMIF is a premier event for professionals in mental health, personal autonomy, and neurosciences, bringing together leading experts, companies, and organizations from around the world. It provides a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation, focusing on the latest trends in mental health, aging, and neuroscientific developments.

As a global network of Living Labs, ENoLL is committed to driving user-centered innovation through real-life experimentation and co-creation, and we see immense potential in fostering innovation in the mental health and wellbeing sectors. This partnership reinforces ENoLL’s ongoing dedication to advancing solutions in these fields. Notably, the existence of ENoLL’s Health & Wellbeing Working Group, which supports the adoption of Living Lab methodologies in the research, design, and development of products and services, is a testament to the long-standing commitment of Living Labs to mental health and personal autonomy.

A shining example of the potential of Living Labs in health and wellbeing is the VITALISE  Project, which aimed to create the winning conditions for researchers and communities by establishing a Health and Wellbeing Living Lab ecosystem. VITALISE succeeded in fostering innovative, person-centered research and was recognized by the Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Union as a best practice in integrating Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) within Horizon 2020 projects. Key achievements include the creation of an Harmonization Body for Living Lab procedures and services, the establishment of standards for Health and Wellbeing Living Lab procedures, and the development of a Panel Management Tool, among others.

Living Labs, by engaging users in the co-creation process, can play a key role in developing impactful and sustainable solutions for the evolving challenges in mental health and aging populations. Through this collaboration, ENoLL will work alongside WeMind Cluster to promote innovative, patient-centered approaches that enhance quality of life and empower individuals.

We are excited to see the synergy between the two organizations and look forward to sharing insights, best practices, and new solutions at the WeMind International Forum.
