REWAISE

REsilient WAter Innovation for Smart Economy

REWAISE proposes a paradigm shift towards a carbon neutral water cycle, addressing the technological, financial, legal, and social issues to realize the full value of water, considering three key components of the economic and societal value generated by water cycles: value from water, value through water and value in water. 

  • Value from water, enhancing economic activities and service quality by generating water-focused jobs and businesses. 
  • Value through water, generating social well-being trough the creation of new governance models.
  • Value in water: promoting efficient use, reuse, and energy/material recovery. 

The REWAISE Living Labs contribute from a citizen-driven perspective to a water-smart society, new business models and governance methods, as well as social engagement. The project proposes that all actors co-design actions, integrating the gender perspective, and supporting sustainability.

Capacity building, monitoring of LLs (Living Labs) and evaluation of Living Labs.
