LiCalab conducts user research to align healthcare innovations with the needs of citizens and professionals, focusing on usability, user experience, and acceptance. It co-creates, tests, and evaluates healthcare solutions with end users in real-life settings.
Its expertise covers healthcare technology and innovative care models, considering inclusion, digital and health literacy, and sustainability. LiCalab involves a user panel of around 1,200 citizens and healthcare professionals in living lab activities and collaborates with patient associations, healthcare organizations, and public authorities.
