SOILL Junior Project Manager

WHO WE ARE

The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) is the international, non-profit, independent association of benchmarked Living Labs. 

ENoLL facilitates knowledge exchange, joint actions and project partnerships between its historically labelled +480 members in Europe and worldwide. Its aim is to promote the Living Labs concept in order to influence EU policies, enhance Living Labs and enable their implementation at a global level.

The role of ENoLL Office is to implement decisions passed by the General Assembly and run day-to-day operations of the network.

ENoLL is coordinator of the SOILL Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA), implemented under Horizon Europe as part of the EU Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe”. The project supports the network of Mission Soil Living Labs and Lighthouses, applicants to the Mission Soil LL specific topics, as well as to aligned and emerging Europe-wide Soil LLs and LHs initiatives through capacity building, networking, monitoring and engagement.

YOUR TEAM

You’d be working within the coordination team of the SOILL project, in a dynamic international environment involving multiple consortium partners and EU-level interactions.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Junior Project Manager you will support the coordination and implementation of SOILL activities, contributing to the day-to-day management of the project.

In this role you will:

  • Support the planning and implementation of project activities across multiple WPs under ENoLL responsibility
  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the coordination team
  • Support the coordination of project activities to ensure performance and quality
  • Contribute to the preparation of deliverables, reports, and internal documentation, including cost statements
  • Contribute to data collection, consolidation, and preliminary analysis for reporting and monitoring purposes
  • Support communication and dissemination activities (content preparation, updates, materials)
  • Assist in tracking progress
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of project information

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience (including traineeship) in project management of Horizon Europe projects
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Very good command of MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and structured content
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously within a team

HIGHLY DESIRABLE ASSETS 

  • Experience in event organisation (workshops, meetings, conferences)
  • Experience in data collection, management, or reporting
  • Familiarity with intellectual property (IP) aspects in projects
  • Experience working in international and multi-partner environments
  • Interest in EU policy areas related to environment, soil, or innovation
  • Strong problem solving attitude

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • A full-time contract as a freelancer based in any EU country and able to prove freelancer status as a natural person
  • Remuneration depending on qualifications and experiences
