Campus Living Lab

: Campus Living Lab (CaLiLab) is a university-based living lab operated by Jagiellonian University, which utilizes the campus space as an experimental environment for designing, implementing, and testing innovative solutions. As an open collaboration platform, CaLiLab brings together the academic community, society and both public and private sector stakeholders to co-create knowledge and innovation under real-life conditions. The main areas of CaLiLab’s activity focus on social and business innovations as well as blue-green infrastructure. Campus-based projects explore sustainable water management systems, biodiversity and user well-being. CaLiLab serves as a catalyst for transforming the campus towards sustainable development, while also providing a research and educational resource for students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff of the Jagiellonian University.
