This BDI Conference contains competitive paper presentations, inspiring keynote sessions together with luncheon speeches, interactive panel discussion, and conference tutorial.

Furthermore, special session proposals are welcomed. BDI2009 brings together the great minds of academics, business leaders, and other professionals from both private and public sectors to share and co-create knowledge on innovation-related topics.

The following distinguished Keynote Speakers have been confirmed: Professor Alan Barrell, Entrepreneur in residence of Cambridge University and Professor Dhrubes Biswas from the Indian Institute of Technology. Members of the BDI2009 Programme Committee include for example Senator Pierre Laffitte, Sophia Antipolis Fondation as Industry Practise Track Chair, Professor David C. Mowery, University of California Berkeley as Technical Track Chair, Professor Ursula Huws, London Metropolitan University as Best Practises and Applications Track Chair, and Professor Ainin Sulaiman, University of Malaya as Research Track Chair.Professor Patrick Wang from Northeastern University facilitates Conference Tutorial. The interactive panel discussion is moderated by CEO Jan-Henrik Johansson, WikiVision. Development Director Jukka Ahtikari from Logica appears as an invited Luncheon Speaker.
