The overall aim of CATALISI is to help and support Higher Education Institutions to successfully implement a strategy and individual pathways for institutional transformation through the adoption of acceleration services. These are designed to facilitate and accelerate institutional transformation in the field of Research and Innovation which will strengthen European Universities collaborations and alliances as lighthouses of European values. CATALISI will analyse how the governance of Higher Education Institutions can be changed, considering the governance as a way in which societal and state actors intentionally interact in order to transform Science Technology and Innovation systems, by regulating issues of societal concern by guiding how institutions engage with broader challenges and opportunities in research and innovation.
By focusing on governance, CATALISI not only helps universities to implement changes but also ensures that these institutions remain aligned with societal needs. This involves incorporating new models of leadership, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making processes, all of which are necessary for Higher Education Institutions to remain at the forefront of global advancements in research and innovation.
ENoLL plays a central role in the CATALISI project, leading the development and management of Acting-Living Labs across participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). ENoLL guides the HEIs through various stages of the project, starting with the setup and stakeholder mapping, and progressing through exploration, co-design, implementation, and evaluation phases. Their leadership involves facilitating the analysis of local contexts, orchestrating participatory methods to gather insights, and translating these into actionable plans. ENoLL also oversees the application of strategies, monitors progress against predefined KPIs, and conducts comprehensive evaluations to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of institutional transformations.
