Torino City lab works as a real-life laboratory open to all companies interested in testing

Torino City lab works as a real-life laboratory open to all companies interested in testing “innovative solutions of public interest in Turin”. Specific challenges or priority areas can be identified periodically and allow starting “thematic laboratories”. Torino City Lab (TCL) is an initiative-platform aimed at creating simplified conditions for companies interested in conducting testing in real conditions of innovative solutions for urban living. The initiative was launched in 2018 by the City of Turin and today has about 90 international and national partners. Since 2021, the “House of Emerging Technologies of Turin – CTE NEXT” has been inaugurated, which grafts on Torino City Lab, expanding its purposes towards the acceleration of start-ups and technology transfer in the field of emerging technologies enabled by 5G in verticals of interest to Turin, such as: land and air mobility, Industry 4.0 and Smart City.
