Reunion Living Lab is led by Technopole de La Réunion, a key innovation hub located in the French overseas region of La Réunion, in the Indian Ocean. Anchored in a multicultural and biodiversity-rich territory, the Lab promotes user-centred, collaborative innovation addressing social and environmental challenges.
As part of the regional University Innovation Hub (PUI Valiotech), Reunion Living Lab develops and supports real-life experimentation processes involving researchers, public institutions, grassroots organisations, businesses, and citizens.
We focus on inclusive and sustainable innovation in various fields such as digital technology and biodiversity, social innovation, climate risks, agri-food, economic activities, and tropical construction.
Our methods are based on co-creation. By joining ENoLL, we wish to share our island perspective, strengthen cooperation with other Living Labs—particularly in tropical, island, or postcolonial contexts—and contribute to building robust methodologies adapted to the realities of the territory. The Living Lab of Réunion is a space for collective intelligence, where innovation is a means of caring for ecosystems, cultures, and shared futures.
